BECOMING A RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
CINMR research associates are university researchers, teachers, graduate students and other professionals who have an interest in new media and their implications for communicating across cultures. Research associates have access to CINMR interactive and searchable worldwide directory of intercultural new media scholars. This directory also provides research associates with the opportunity to initiate and join intercultural new media research projects, participate in on-line forum discussions, and communicate with intercultural new media scholars associated with CINMR. Research associates are also informed of CINMR research studies, events, and publications.
Individuals interested in becoming a CINMR research associate should possess:
(1) Graduate degree, preferably a Ph.D
(2) Demonstrated facility with research including at least two research publications or the equivalent
(3) Research interest in new media and intercultural communication
Individuals interested in becoming a CINMR student research associate should possess:
(1) Bachelors degree
(2) Currently enrolled in an MA and/or Ph.D program
(3) Research interest in new media and intercultural communication
Eligible individuals should go to the Center link, For Research Associates, and create a profile.
